A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Shapeshift to survive: sneak, smash, and escape the dungeon of despair.

(NB: This game is only a prototype and made for a game jam. If interest arise from this prototype I will continue with development.)

You are the monster. Trapped within a cursed dungeon, your only hope is to find the key and escape each room. But survival isn’t simple — you hold the power to shapeshift between forms, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Use them wisely, or remain forever in the dark.

🧩 Gameplay

  • Sneak as the Mouse: Crawl through tiny tunnels, slip past guards, and stay hidden in the shadows.

  • Rage as the Monster: Unleash raw power to smash crates, rocks, and enemies that stand in your way.

  • Manage Power Orbs: Transformations consume precious energy — plan your shifts carefully.

  • Escape the Rooms: Each chamber hides a key and an exit door. Guards patrol with lamps, and every choice brings you closer to freedom… or to death.

🎮 Controls

  • WASD – Move

  • Mouse Look – Look around

  • E – Pick up objects / interact

  • Left Click (Rage Form) – Smash objects and enemies

✨ Features

  • First-person dungeon crawling with horror atmosphere.

  • Stealth and power mechanics in one.

  • Simple but tense puzzle-like rooms.

  • Low-poly retro visuals with blood effects.

Can you master both forms and escape the dungeon? Or will the Monster Within consume you?

Thanks for the interest and comments. I have created this game in a very short time for a GAME JAM. I want to extend the game and see if other people are interested.

Thanks for the feedback.

Game has an interesting premise. But it was way too short of a demo to fully understand the mechanics. I would give the demo a few more rooms with enemies and puzzles before closing the demo out.
